Reviews and Ratings
The Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club offers a stunning view from the rooms and has spacious living areas, making it a pleasant place to unwind. The cleanliness and well-stocked kitchen facilities are definite highlights, but some may find the resort a bit outdated and the noise from nearby venues disruptive at times. Overall, it's a solid choice for those looking for a value-oriented stay in the Keys, especially for families wanting space and convenience as they explore the area.
I stayed at the Anchorage Resort & Yacht Club and found it to be a mixed bag. The location is quite unique, right beneath a bridge and overlooking the marina, providing some beautiful views. While the room was spacious and offered great self-catering facilities, the overall atmosphere felt dated. The hot tub was out of service during my stay, which was disappointing, and there was some noise due to nearby activities. Despite its drawbacks, it offered good value for a quick stop in the Keys.
I had an enjoyable time at the resort overall, even if some aspects felt a bit dated. The views from my room were truly spectacular, and I really appreciated the spacious layout of the unit. However, the noise from the nearby bar was a bit disruptive, and the hot tub being out of service was disappointing. For the value, particularly in this area, it was a solid choice.
Overall, my stay at Anchorage Resort was quite enjoyable. The breathtaking waterfront views and access to the nearby restaurant made the experience memorable. However, the amenities felt a bit dated, and the hot tub was out of service, which was disappointing. Still, the friendly and responsive staff made a significant difference during my visit.
While the resort has its charms with stunning bay views and a spacious layout, it's showing signs of age with some outdated decor and facilities. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, and the overall value for the cost is commendable. However, noise from nearby establishments and a broken hot tub diminished the experience for some guests.
